産総研様とJIDA 社会課題研究会の共同研究により、身体保持の家具シリーズを実装しました。私が担当したのは、壁面に配置された身体保持用オブジェです。通常の手すりは繋がった状態である程度の距離や高さが決まりますが、これは必要な場所に必要なだけ設置できる利便性と、オブジェのような楽しめる要素が特徴です。

Through a collaborative research effort between the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and JIDA Social Issue Research Committee, we have successfully implemented a series of furniture focused on body support. My contribution to this project was the development of body support objects installed on the walls. Unlike traditional handrails that have predefined distances and heights, these objects offer the convenience of being installed wherever needed, while also incorporating enjoyable elements resembling decorative sculptures.
